Anderson Orthopedics COVID-19 Polices and Procedures
At Anderson Orthopedics we are doing everything we can to provide a safe environment for our clients and our staff. We have taking the following precautions to reduce the spread of COVID-19:
1. PETG barriers have been installed at reception desks. We ask that all patients remain 6 feet back from the desk at all times. PETG barriers are also to be used between clinicians and patients when possible.
2. When scheduling an appointment, all patients will be asked a series of questions prior to booking. The same questions will be asked again when the patient arrives to their appointment. If you do not pass the screening you will be asked to reschedule your appointment to a later date.
3. All patients and couriers must enter from the back entrance. Upon entering all patients must use hand sanitizer and have option to put on gloves and a disposable mask.
4. No escorts will be allowed in to the building with patients unless needed. If an escort is not needed they will be asked to remain in the car.
5. All patients will be put directly into a room upon arrival. There will be no waiting in the lobby under any circumstance.
6. Unfortunately, at this time our coffee station will be unavailable until further notice.
7. Employees and patients must maintain social distance protocols.
8. We have reduced the number of clinicians who will be in the building and seeing patients at any given time.
9. Clinicians are to wear appropriate PPE such as masks gloves, gowns, face shield, and lab coats whenever available.
10. Any surface that has been in contact with a patient will be cleaned prior to seeing the next patient.
11. Clinicians are to remove gloves after seeing patient before leaving the room to reduce the risk of contaminating other surfaces.
12. All employees are required to wash their hands frequently, and use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not readily available.
We recommend if you have a weakened immune system, or if you are high risk of contracting the virus that you reschedule any non-urgent appointments.
